About Ochsner Health System
To get the hospital staff back online to resume elective surgical and diagnostic procedures has been a natural part of reopening for now-COVID care for Ochsner Health System. The real challenge remains intact for the Louisiana hospital system, which is getting patients to feel comfortable about coming back. According to the MyOchsner Health System, they already had the knowledge that safety was going to be the priority for folks as they think about coming back to seek any kind of healthcare services, so Ochsner Health System tried to think about a new approach as explained by Werner Thomas, CEO of Ochsner Health System.
Keeping in mind the recent condition, every patient and visitor will undergo a temperature scan, and answer questions related to coronavirus symptoms. Abbe will be given a mask if they don’t already have one. On the inside, they find a waiting area chair spaced for social distancing, receptionists behind aged partitions, and enhanced cleaning between appointments. The patients seeing the hospital take these measures are giving positive feedback, and the folks are coming back sooner for their medical care without any fear. Considering this week, Ochsner’s outpatient and surgical procedures have bounced back to between 55% and 60% of what they were during the same time last year.
